ABOUT TUI MARINE
Fiji roots. Global shipyard experience.
Tui Marine was founded in 2020 by Tomasi Tuivunilagi, whose marine career began in Fiji. After training in carpentry and joinery at Montfort Boys Town, he progressed to shipbuilding at the Maritime Campus in Laucala Bay and completed practical experience with the Fiji Navy.
Over more than 25 years in the United Kingdom and Europe, Tomasi worked across luxury yachts, commercial craft and specialist vessels—contributing to new builds, refits and systems work associated with Sunseeker, Fairline, Oyster, Gunboat, Diverse Marine and Griffon Hoverwork.
Today, Tui Marine brings that experience home to Fiji: combining practical marine engineering with a commitment to local skills development, technology transfer and dependable long-term vessel support.
